Yuzoz Ive been using the OUTER SPACE RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR to help me pick (without prejudice) a bunch of stuff each
weekend. I always let the stars decide which lotteries/scratch cards to play each week and I always need to select lucky
space numbers for each. I just paste a list of my preferred lotteries into the decision maker, but it would be way cool if I
could save my settings for the weeks ahead so it knows which set of numbers to choose from.
Mr Stomes
Nice use of the randomness of space MR Stomes, at the moment you'll have to keep pasting your lists into the decision maker
but be sure to keep an eye on the Yuzoz blog for details about the new features to be introduced very soon. As well as being
able to log on to Yuzoz and select your space connection, you'll also be able to build and save your personalised "Yuzoz It!
lists", so that Yuzozing, say "my favorite bars in Manhattan" will be easy. Not only that but you'll be able to select
potential results from the growing Yuzoz database and add your own to it! Hows that for a Personalized connection to the
cosmos!

Damn it Yuzoz, I get half of my lottery numbers from your space number generator and half are made up from my family's
birthdays. If I ever win, I reckon its a sign that something bigger is in play out there. Brent
Could be Brent! and what better way to find out if your are favoured by the Gods! Keep the faith, Good luck and Live Random!

I've Yuzozed which colour to dye my hair and it seems to want "no change" duh. so i kept yuzozing it until it said red and
then showed my folks who said "well if it's written in the stars...." and have given me permission to do it! ha. Thanx RL
from Gigsey
Ahh, very sneaky Gigsey, well if you want it enough Im sure the stars won't stand in your way.

Hello, and thank you!
I got offered a promotion at work just as I was thinking of quitting.
I hated the job (boring finance stuff) and was looking forward to doing something new –
but they offered me loads more money. I didn’t know what to do, but my mate told me about
this site. Well, I gave it a go – and now I’m working at a casting agency.
Suffice to say, it’s ten times better.
Good to hear you took the plunge and followed Yuzoz’s
random advice service! Kinda risky perhaps, but it
doesn’t sound like you were particularly happy where
you were. Hope it works out for you.

I asked Yuzoz: ‘who da man?’ Sadly, it wasn’t me. I’m gonna sue over the confidence issues this has given me...
Steady up, friend. I’m sure in your own special way you are very much da man.

I love Star Wars, right. But I have seen all the movies a million times. So, I thought I’d watch scenes from all six movies in random order – using Yuzoz and my DVD remote. Sounds stupid, but it was pretty cool... especially when Luke killed Darth before he was even born!
Nice one, Rob. Who needs Tarantino when you can create your own post-modern movie mash-ups at home with the help Yuzoz? Plus it’s cool that the story of Stars Wars can be directed by, hey, the stars!

Hello Yuzoz and friends,
I have been using random number generators for school work too. The primary class play this
game where the kids take turns to judge which of two numbers are the highest in value. I
let them use your space number selector and they loved it. The fact that they could look
outside at the sun while it picked a number and put it on the screen right there in front
of their eyes is a great idea, thanks.
Mary Kendal.
Hey Mary,
Glad to hear that Yuzoz can entertain the children and help with the learning process.
Isn't it great that they can see the sun so far away but have instant interactivity with
it. Thanks for your message and remember that we at Yuzoz are always open to requests and
ideas for further uses of the live connection to space, especially when it comes to creativity
and learning.

Sounds messy! so vodka then gin then brandy with a random helping of beer is on the menu at
your place right? Yuzoz one for me!

hi there,
I've been using the yuzoz chooser to pick me a passage from the good book to read. It's a
bit like Bibliomancy and divination in the old old days, to get inspiration.
Great idea Stephen! Having the sun pick a spiritual lesson sounds quite deep to me. I would
say having Yuzoz help guide your passage through life, fate and fortune is kinda cool
especially when it,s our "life giving" Sun doing all the deciding!

It's Brighton Live all this week and there are SO many good gigs all
for free - we're gonna use your yuzoz space thing to pick which ones to
go to. They better be good ones or I'll cry.
It may not pick all your favourites, but when there's so much on offer
for free where's the harm in being adventurous?! Time to live random
and enjoy the music! I bet you'll have a wicked time.

We started yuzozing who has to pick up the sandwiches at work cause
no1 ever wants to - and it always seems to pick our supervisor! Hes
not happy but ya cant fight space.
Too right, Ronnie! That's the thing about being truly random: it's so
unpredictable you just can't argue! I bet lunch tastes that little bit
better when someone else has to go get it for you. Here's hoping the
stars keep putting your super-v in his place!

My brother and me got rabbits as pets! We did yuzoz to see what there
names would be. I typed in all the names of the Bratz petz and he
typed in footballer names and let yuzoz pick. My rabbit is called
Jolie and his rabbit is called Fabbergass! Thanks, love Lucy xoxoxo
So cute, Lucy! Those are wickedcool names for what must be the coolest
random bunnies on the block! Glad we could help you pick - the stars
chose well for you. Let us know what other Yuzoz uses you come up
with!

Been pissing about with the Holiday picker - now we're all going to
Tallinn in Estonia apparently. Was quite pleased - we were thinking of
Poland so it's not far off.
Right on! I haven't been there, but I'm sure you'll have a wicked
time. Don't forget to send a postcard to all of us at the Yuzoz
offices - we'd like one with a random picture, obviously...

I asked Yuzoz 'Where is My Mind?' and out of the options 'Behind the
sofa', 'Alan', 'Cheese factory', 'Gdansk' and 'Don't be stupid, it's a
conceptual question' it told me my mind is at, on or in Alan. Thanks
for the tip.
Our pleasure - we can't have mindless young men wandering the streets,
regardless how good the Pixies song is. I hope Alan is willing to
relinquish your mind and I wish you all the best in using it.

When we were kids we used to play this game called MASH (Mansion Shack
Apartment House) so as to figure out who you marry, where you live and
so on when you grow up. We use to pick like five in each category and
then count, but we tried it the other night at a party just for a joke
and yuzoz is actually much more fun cos it's so unpredicatble!
I remember that game! Yeah, it must work out well, plus save you the
hassle of counting everything up AND the possibility of someone
counting ahead and cheating! I bet you could totally Yuzoz a wicked
game of MadLibs into the bargain... someone give it a go and let us
know how your story turns out!

I use Yuzoz to pick what to watch cos I have two many DVD's. Yuzoz
genre (action or comedy or whatever), then a star or director and you
figure out what movie to watch. Neato.
Neato indeed! Sometimes it's good to pick films at random, especially
for new stuff when you dunno whether it's gonna be any good or not.
Why not try it for the cinema as well as DVDs? Who knows what you
might end up watching!

yuzo whether ranomlee will sleep with me and it says yes. pay up.
Oh my dear Anonymous, you haven't even left me a name so I could find
you. And yes, it may well be your random decision to get with me, but
unfortunately the stars decided a different course of action and when
I asked should I be with you, they came up with 'Hell no'.
Commiserations. I suggest you Yuzoz another name and try your luck
there.

Hello Yuzoz guys - just thought I'd let you know I've been going mad
trying to decide what to wear to my friend's wedding at the end of
this month - I just couldn't narrow it down between four different
dresses - so I Yuzoz'd it and now know exactly what I'm getting.
Thanks for saving my sanity! Now all I have to do is shop for some
shoes!
PS: I love the 'fireworks' widget - I downloaded it to my desktop -
very therapeutic to watch!
It IS great, isn't it? Glad you liked it so much. Shopping can be such
a drag - I'm sure Yuzoz chose a knockout of an outfit for you! Next
try Yuzozing what accessories to wear with it - it might come up with
something fantastic. Hope you have a great time at the wedding - and
don't forget to tell everyone who compliments you on your outfit just
how you chose it in the end!

We Yuzozed what to have with the Sunday roast instead of parsnips
because we couldn't find parsnips and it was useless! What should we
do?
You could possibly try not including winter vegetables in your summer
meals for a start. Everything will become much easier once you stop
fighting nature. And ordering pizza.

I've been considering giving up smoking but I don't want to do it right now, immediately after the smoking ban, because that's like letting the government tell you what to do - heaven forfend! So I asked yuzoz/the stars/the randomness fairy/whoever when I should give up and it told me the prime time is New Year's Eve. This is acceptable to me and so your venture has all my approval and support. Carry on about your business.
Cool! It's good to kick the habit but apparently you have to do it when you're ready, and I suppose a New Year's Resolution is as good a way as any if you want to give up! It helps to cut down in the meantime - try distracting yourself by doing something else off the Yuzoz Popular Decisions "What should I do tonight?" list. And good luck!

See? Ambivalence leads to unhappiness and confusion - when something is such a close decision, YUZOZ IT, LET THE STARS DECIDE AND SET YOUR MIND AT EASE!!!

This thing is'nt as good as yall think I asked it wut my moms name was and it picked the wrong one totally dumb
Sorry young man, but you seem to have somewhat misunderstood the point of the Yuzoz decision maker. It, um, MAKES DECISIONS, as the name might suggest. It's not some kind of two-bit fortune teller. If you're having trouble understanding, try using the Yuzoz 'Popular Decisions' applications until you get the hang of it all. If you're looking for something a bit more like a psychic, I might suggest you use the Force, Lucas.

Hi fellow randomness fans. So far here’s my list of stuff I’ve Yuzozed
- Tea or coffee
- Do I wanna stay in or not
- Dress or jeans
- Who do I like more
- Who has to walk the dog in the rain
- Go to Reading Festival or not
- What to have for lunch
- What to ask for if I pass my exams!!
It feels pretty cool to get all these random decisions made when you just can’t
be bothered, I’m a new Yuzoz fan! Thanks a lot
Wow, our first list – you’re
evidently a Yuzoz devotee! You should look into downloading one of the widgets,

I just thought I would drop you a line to tell you that I have been using the
"live space connection" to select a range of samples for an experiment that i
am doing for my marine biology degree. It’s been well boring trying to write it
up but using your space generator thingy is much more fun than using the old
photocopied tables of random numbers that we are supplied with at university.
Thanks again!
Wow – a really useful way to
work with Yuzoz! I’ve been hearing about a whole range of applications where
random data is handy for scientific research. But Lyndsay my friend, ‘tis the
weekend, so why not set down all that work and Yuzoz yourself a bit of a break
– which pal to ring, which pub to go to or which film to catch at the cinema?!

Wicked idea, Skerrett! Not that

random excuses are the best way to make sure you don’t get caught… hopefully,

Anyone been to a festival where there is just so much going on that you have no
idea where to start?
Well over here in Brighton we have just had the Great Escape Festival where
bands come from all over the world to play at a multitude of venues. Not having
much time on my hands to read up on all these up and coming bands I thought to
myself how can I choose where to start? A ridiculous notion considering. Of
course I Yuzoz'd it. And what a great night out I had.
What a great way to go see
bands. I wonder how many other people will now make random decisions rather
than live their lives by the same old routine. Which reminds me. Keep your eyes
out for some cool new decision making widgets to be appearing on a site near
you.

The first use of the Yuzoz Generator was to give us our own name!
On January 1st 2006 the word "Yuzoz" was randomly generated by Steve and Dan
Bress who wrote some special code which they linked to a database of the
English alphabet. They instructed it to create a list of “words” of six letters
or less, with at least one vowel and if a “q” appeared it would be followed by
a “u”. Basic stuff right?
THEN THEY POINTED IT TOWARDS THE HEAVENS!
The Yuzoz Space Random Number Generator was actually developed to receive
streams of cosmic data live from orbiting satellites, so over the next hour or
so they collected a whole bunch of names created by random impulses coming live
from the sun. And the rest you can see...
